Vietnam will likely face South Korea if both teams advance to AFC U23 Championship 2020’s knockout round

Vietnam will face a strong group C opponent at the AFC U23 Championship 2020 in Thailand if they qualify for the knockout stage.

Vietnam drew a comfortable group, which includes the UAE, Jordan, and North Korea.

If Vietnam play well in their group matches, they will take on either Iran, South Korea, Uzbekistan, or China from the “group of death.”

In addition to experienced players like Quang Hai, Tien Dung, Van Hau, and Duc Chinh, the Vietnam U23 roster features some newcomers like Hoang Duc, Martin Lo, and Trieu Viet Hung.

Vietnam will play the UAE on January 10, Jordan on January 13, and North Korea on January 16.
